 Lavender Orange

This is a vegan offering chock full of nourishing oils and butter.  Its starts with a base of olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and castor oil.  Aloe Vera was used for the liquid portion.  It is scented with essential oils of lavender and sweet orange and a faint chocolate smell comes through from the higher amounts of cocoa butter used.

 Peppermint Swirl

Inspired by the famous hard candies, this is a lovely peppermint soap.  This is also a vegan offering as its base is made up just of coconut oil.  When using coconut only, to keep it from being too efficient of a soap, I discount the lye to leave a higher amount of oil unsaponified, or that is not turned into soap.  Always one of my favorite soaps, it cleanses well but leaves skin very moisturized.  Aloe Vera and coconut cream were used as the liquid portion and just peppermint essential oil is used to fragrance.

 Sandalwood

Such a timeless scent, warm and inviting.  This soap has a base of olive oil, lard, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and avocado oil.  Aloe Vera was used as the liquid.  It is scented with a (as always phthalate free) fragrance oil called Indian Sandalwood - a rich and warm woodsy scent.

 Vanilla Creme

Oh vanilla....nothing makes me feel more comforted than a great vanilla scent.  This one is not one of those sugary sweet ones, but just a classic straight vanilla scent.  This soap is vegetarian (because of the palm oil) The soap starts with a base of  olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, palm, coconut oil, almond oil, and castor oil.  The liquid used is a combination of oatmilk and aloe vera.

Cranberry Relish

The bright, sweet scent of the bunch.  This soap starts with a base of rice bran oil, tallow, almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and castor oil.  The liquids used were coconut milk and aloe vera.  It is scented with a fragrance oil that is a mixture of tart and sweet, just like its namesake.

Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh

Classic holiday scent, this soap starts with a base of olive oil, tallow, coconut oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, and castor oil.  Liquid portion consists of rice milk.  It is scented with fragrance oil called Frankincense and Myrrh which is described as a rich combination of olibanum, myrrh, patchouli, herbaceous woodsy pine, sheer musk, vanilla, and floral lilac notes.

Autumn Selections

These soaps were made with autumn in mind.  I still have soaps available from previous postings as well.  Also, lotions, bath bombs/truffles, bubble bars, bath salts, salves, butters, scrubs, and more are made to order and a wide variety of scents are available.

Autumn Woods

This soap starts with a base of rice bran oil, lard, coconut oil, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, and cocoa butter.  The liquids used were a mix of coconut milk and water. I then scented this with a mix of essential oils: lavender, cedar, eucalyptus, and cypress.  It has a very woodsy scent.

Amber Romance

A vegan soap, this is a pretty simple base of olive oil, coconut oil, and castor.  Aloe vera juice was used for the liquid.  It is scented with a warm fragrance oil with notes of amber, african vanilla, musk and a tiny undertone of black cherry.

 Eucalyptus Mint Goat Milk

This creamy soap starts with a base of tallow, rice bran oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and castor oil. Goat milk is added to up the fat content and give it a lovely creaminess.  I then scented this batch with a mix of eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils.

 Merlot

Who doesn't like wine??  This soap uses concentrated wine as part of the liquid which really helps up the bubbles.  The other portion of liquid in an infusion of marshmallow which adds a lot of nourishment for the skin. The base oils consist of olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, almond oil, cocoa butter, and castor oil.  This is a vegetarian soap.  Scented with a fragrance oil, this really does smell like a glass of merlot!

 Lavender Patchouli Goat Milk

This is a remake of an earlier batch though I did a different design this time.  This creamy soap starts with a base of tallow, rice bran oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and castor oil. Goat milk is added to up the fat content and give it a lovely creaminess.   I then scented this soap with essential oils of lavender and patchouli.

 Pumpkin Cheesecake

Smells good enough to eat!  This soap includes pumpkin puree and goat milk in the liquid portion.  The oils used to make up the base are olive, coconut, tallow, rice bran, cocoa butter, and castor.  It is scented with a fragrance oil blended to smell like pumpkin cheesecake.  It includes notes of pumpkin, cardamom, cinnamon, maple, rum, cream, vanilla, caramelized sugar, and more.  So nice:)

 Rosemary Mint Beer Soap

Like the Merlot soap, this soap uses concentrated beer for part of the liquid portion.  The base oils consist of olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, almond oil, cocoa butter, and castor oil.  This is a vegetarian soap as well.  Scented with rosemary and peppermint essential oils.

 Teakwood and Cardamom

This soap is such a delight.  I planned on it being an autumn offering but I may have to carry it year round!  This starts with a base of olive oil, lard, coconut oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and castor oil.  Aloe juice is used for the liquid.  It is scented with a fragrance oil based around teakwood with notes of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, cedar, amber, patchouli, and sandalwood.

Witching Hour

This is my nod to Halloween.  Another vegan soap, this is a pretty simple base of olive oil, coconut oil, and castor.  Aloe juice was used for the liquid.  It is scented with a fragrance oil based around cinnamon bark complemented with notes of bergamot, cannabis flower, jasmine, rose, sheer musk, black tea, and patchouli.

Sneak Peak at what's coming up....

End of summer already!

Time to start making fall and winter scents already!  Here is whats left of the summer soaps (soaps from previous two posts are also available as well as made to order items like bath bombs, sugar scrubs, salves, balms, etc)

 Carrot, Honey, and Cream

This is a very mild and gentle soap.  I debated leaving it unscented to make it even more gentle, but decided to go with a nice, light fragrance.  The liquid portion for this one includes aloe, pureed carrots, honey, and sour cream.  The oils are : olive, palm, coconut, avocado, castor, shea butter and cocoa butter.  It is fragranced with a similar scent to Burt Bees Baby line.

 Jamaica Me Crazy!

Very tropical and fruity fragrance, perfect for those sultry summer days.  It has notes of lime, mandarin, kumquat, watermelon, cantaloupe, tart apple, honeydew and more:)  This soap uses almond milk for the liquid.  The oils are: olive, canola, coconut, avocado, castor, and cocoa butter.

 Margarita on the Rocks

Who can resist a margarita?  This is another salt bar so of course a personal favorite of mine.  Aloe was used as the liquid and then the oil is all coconut.  Fine sea salt is added to the batter to give a polishing and wonderful feel to the bar.  A bit of course sea salt was added to the top because any good margarita has a salted rim;)  The fragrance is lime margarita.

 Shaving Soap

Ok, so all soaps that I make really work pretty well for shaving as they are very moisturizing.  This one however is formulated to give a really dense and creamy lather.  It works best when used with a brush but can be used without, just takes a bit of working with it to get the dense foam built up.  I included bentonite clay to help the razor glide over the skin.  I used aloe for the liquid and lard, tallow, avocodo, and castor for the oils.  It is scented with a fragrance called 'Pheromone' which is described by the manufacture as citrus notes of bergamot and grapefruit, open up to a sensual bouquet of white floral and woody violet, grounded by the deeply sensual scent of oakmoss and sandalwoodhe

 ACV Shampoo Bars

These bars are formulated for use on hair.  While they are just fine to use on the skin as well, they are not superfatted as high as I usually do so are not quite as moisturizing to the skin.  For hair though, most people do not need as much extra oil when trying to shampoo.  These start with using apple cider vinegar and aloe for the liquid.  The main oil is canola into which I infused nettle, peppermint, calendula, alfalfa, sage, licorice root, and chamomile.  The rest of the oils include: coconut, castor, sweet almond, shea butter, and jojoba.  These are scented with an essential oil blend of rosemary, peppermint, and lavender.

Vanilla Latte

Need a little wake up for your skin?  Give it caffeine:)  This soap uses both coffee and goat milks as its liquid portion.  I included some coffee grounds to give it exfoliating powers.  The oils are a base of hydrogenated palm and soybean, rice bran, coconut, avocado, and castor.  I used coffee fragrance oil and then a hint of vanilla bean fragrance as well.

Summertime...

 White Citrus - ready 6/21

This is a remake from a previous batch that I am out of using goat milk as the liquid instead.  This one starts with a base of lard, rice bran oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and castor oil.  The fragrance is a dupe for B&BW 'White Citrus"

 Blood Orange

This soap starts with a base of olive oil, tallow, coconut oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, and castor oil.  Hemp milk was used as the liquid.  It is fragrances with orange essential oil and a fragrance oil called blood orange which combined together remind me of an actual blood orange:)

Moroccan Mint - will be ready 6/10

This soap starts with an infusion of mint, rose, and catnip for the liquid portion.  Then the base consists of lard, canola oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and castor oil.  It is scented with a mix of essential and fragrance oils that makes a nice light and summery mint scent.

Lavender Goat Milk - will be ready  6/17

For me, this soap is it...the best classic combination.  Nothing beats just pure lavender in my world.  This soap uses tallow, rice bran oil, coconut oil, canola oil, avocado oil, and castor.  Lavender essential oil is used for fragrance and this one is colored with alkanet root and alfalfa powder.

Black Raspberry and Vanilla - will be ready 6/17

Another goat milk soap, this one uses a base of lard, canola oil, coconut oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, and castor oil.  It is scented with a fragrance oil that blends blackberries and raspberries with some middle green notes and then a base of vanilla and light musk.

Lavender Patchouli Goat Milk

A goat milk soap that uses a base of tallow, rice bran oil, coconut oil, canola oil, avocado oil, and castor oil.  It is scented with a blend of lavender and patchouli essential oils.

Lavender Mint

One of the vegetarian soaps of the batch;)  This one uses a base of palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, and castor oil.  Hemp milk was used for the liquid.  It is scented with a blend of peppermint and lavender essential oils.

Orange Mint Patchouli

Another remake though I did change the base up this time.  This is another vegetarian one that has a base of olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, sunflower oil, and castor oil.  Liquid used was coconut cream.  Bentonite clay was added to give some slip as well as help to anchor the scents which are a blend of orange, peppermint, and patchouli essential oils.

All the soaps from my previous post are available as well

April is almost over??

Lavender Castile

Castile soap is a very mild and gentle soap.  It is made from just olive oil, water, and lye.  It is aged longer than most soaps to allow it to fully harden and give nice creamy lather.  This one is scented with lavender essential oil.

Almost Tzatziki - Sold Out!

Who doesn't love the lovely Greek concoction known as tzatziki?  Only thing missing from this soap (well besides being edible) is the garlic!  The soap starts with a base of olive oil, lard, coconut oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, and castor oil.  Then for the liquid part I used a mixture of Greek yogurt and pureed cucumber.  It is scented with a blend of cucumber fragrance oil and essential oils of lemongrass and peppermint.

Bite me

This soap starts with a base of lard, olive oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, and avocado oil.  Yogurt is added to give it extra creamy goodness.  It is scented with the fragrance oil called 'Bite Me' which is a heady mix of dark cherry, berry and citrus notes over a base of vanilla.

Bergamot and Tarragon

Will be ready 5/17

This summery soap starts with a base of rice bran oil, palm oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, and cocoa butter.  The liquid part is hemp milk.  It is then scented with a lovely fragrance oil called 'Bergamot and Tarragon Leaves' - it also includes notes from grapefruit, jasmine, lime, oakmoss, and bamboo.

Lemongrass and Lavender

This is another coconut oil soap.  It is superfatted at 25% meaning 25% of the oil remains unsaponified (or not soap) making this very moisturizing.  Rice milk was used for the liquid and its scented with essential oils of lemongrass and lavender.

Coconut Cream and Oatmeal

Ok, yikes!  I lost my recipe on this one!  I don't know what the base oils are:/  However it is full of yummy goodness.  Coconut cream is used as the liquid and additives are ground oatmeal, honey, and cocoa powder.

Basil, Sage, and Mint

ready 5/23

This one starts with a base of rice bran oil, lard, palm kernel oil, sunflower oil, and sweet almond oil.  Hemp milk is used for the liquid.  It is scented with a fragrance oil.

From previous batches I still have bars of:

Heliotrope, Herbal Body Bar, Honeysuckle, Happy Days, Eucalyptus Mint Salt Bar, & Rose Garden

Spring Line

Happy Days - will be ready 2/22
This is a lard based soap.  Lard gives a wonderful creamy lather to soaps and is a wonderful addition, but of course, not vegetarian:)  The lard is then balanced with rice bran oil, coconut oil. castor oil, avocado oil, and shea butter.  Aloe Vera juice was the liquid used.  Scented with a wonderful mixture of essential oils - lavender, orange, and a touch of patchouli

Rose Garden - will be ready 2/22
I was very impressed with this rose scent.  Many rose fragrance oils tend to be very fake and cloying.  This one to me really smells like a fresh rose, complete with the green undertones.
This soap is made with mostly olive oil.  Coconut and castor are then added to add hardness and lather.  Aloe Vera juice was used for the liquid.

White Citrus - will be ready 2/18
This soap is scented with a fragrance oil that is a dupe for B&BW's "White Citrus".  This is another lard based soap.  The rest of it is made with rice bran oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and castor oil.  Liquid used was coconut milk.

Honeysuckle - will be ready 2/12
This soap consists of lard, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and castor oil.  It is then superfatted with shea butter and avocado oil.  Aloe Vera juice is the liquid used. It is very lightly scented with honeysuckle fragrance oil.

This soap consists of lard, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and sweet almond.  It is superfatted with shea butter and sweet almond.  The liquid was aloe vera juice.  It is scented with heliotrope fragrance oil.

Herbal Shampoo and Body Bar - ready now
This bar starts with an infusion of nettle, calendula, chamomile, yucca, chickweed, sage and rosemary into rice bran oil.  That oil was then combined with palm, coconut, and castor for the base.  Superfats were jojoba and coconut oil.  Alfalfa powder was added and the liquid was as combination of aloe vera juice and coconut milk.  It is scented with lavender, mint, rosemary, and tea tree.

Eucalyptus Mint Salt Bar - will be ready 2/22
I just LOVE salt bars.  They are smoothly polishing and make my skin feel just wonderful.  This one is pure coconut oil with a high superfat to keep it moisturizing.  Fine grain sea salt is then added in equal amounts to the oil used.  Alkanet and alfalfa are the colorants used.  Scented with essential oils of eucalyptus and peppermint.

Hemp Milk and Bamboo
This is a bar made up of only coconut oil as a base.  It is super fatted (meaning more oil left over after saponification) at a much higher rate then other bars since coconut oil can be drying as it is so cleansing when made into soap if you don't leave enough left over.  When made with a high super fat, it is very moisturizing.  Hemp milk is the liquid used and Bamboo Hemp fragrance oil is used to scent.

Herbal Daze
This soap is based on Palm, Canola, and Coconut oils.  It was then superfatted with almond oil, shea butter, olive oil, and glycerin.
